The Socks
What makes Gimme socks different from every other grip sock out there?
Honestly? We asked ourselves the same question before we made them. The grip actually grips — reformer-grade, non-slip soles that stay planted through every sequence. The materials feel luxurious, not scratchy. And the colorways are ones you'll actually want to wear. We obsessed over every detail so you don't have to think about your socks for a single second during class. That's the point.
Are these actually good for the reformer or just cute?
Both. Non-negotiable. The silicone grip dots are placed specifically for reformer and mat work — footwork, planks, single-leg balances, all of it. Your feet stay exactly where you put them. The cute part is just a bonus. A very intentional bonus.
What material are they made from?
A high-quality soft-knit blend that's breathable, durable and genuinely feels good against your skin. Nothing scratchy, nothing itchy, nothing that makes you want to rip them off the second class ends. These are the socks you forget you're wearing — until your mat neighbour asks where you got them.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer two sizes: S/M and L/XL. S/M fits most women's shoe sizes 5–8 and L/XL fits sizes 8.5–12. If you're between sizes, size up — the fit is snug but forgiving and you want grip that stays put, not a sock that bunches.
Can I wear them outside of pilates?
Yes and we encourage it. Barre, yoga, at-home workouts, or just padding around your apartment pretending you're about to go to the gym. They're designed to grip on smooth studio floors but they live just fine everywhere else.
Washing & Care
How do I wash them without wrecking the grip?
Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or air dry. Do not iron the grip dots — they will not survive it and neither will your relationship with us. Treat them well and they'll grip class after class after class.
Will the grip wear off over time?
With proper care, no. The silicone grip dots are built to last. The enemies of grip socks everywhere are high heat, fabric softener and dryer sheets — all of which coat the silicone and reduce tackiness. Skip all three and your Gimmes will outlast your gym membership.
Orders & Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
US domestic orders typically arrive within 5–7 business days. We'll send you a tracking link the moment your order ships so you can watch it make its way to you. We know the feeling of waiting for something good.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free domestic shipping on all US orders over $50. Under $50? Standard shipping rates apply at checkout. No surprises, no excuses.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet — but it's coming. We're working on it. Drop your email on our newsletter list and you'll be the first to know when we ship to your part of the world.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We move fast — orders are processed quickly so we can get them to you sooner. If you need to make a change, email us at gimmesocks@weargimme.com as soon as possible and we'll do our best. We can't promise anything once it's packed and ready to go, but we'll always try.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. If something isn't right, we want to fix it. Email us at gimmesocks@weargimme.com and we'll sort it out — no drama, no excuses.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
That is not the Gimme standard and we're sorry. Email us at gimmesocks@weargimme.com with your order number and a photo and we'll make it right immediately. No questions, no hoops to jump through.
Can I exchange for a different size or colorway?
Yes — exchanges are welcome within 30 days on unworn, unwashed items. Email us and we'll walk you through it. We want you in the right pair.
The Brand
Where did Gimme come from?
A reformer. Genuinely. We were tired of socks that slipped, scratched, and were just... boring. So we made our own. You can read the full story on our About page — we're quite proud of it.
